Which bills can I pay from the mobile app?

You can use your mobile banking app to pay any bill, such as utility, local authority, credit card companies.

To ensure your money is safe, we will sometimes ask you to authorise a payment using Face ID/Touch ID on iOS, fingerprint on Android or your app passcode.

Paying a bill you have paid before?

You can pay a bill to a company you have paid before using the same reference. Mobile payment limits apply. 

To pay a bill using your mobile

  1. Log into the Mobile Banking App
  2. Select 'Pay' under the account you wish to make the payment from
  3. Select “Make a payment” and “Choose Payee”
  4. Select company that you wish to pay from the list.  
  5. Enter amount you wish to pay
  6. Select 'Make a Payment'

Paying a bill you have paid before but using a different/new reference?

If the bill is up to €1000, then you can change the reference and make the payment using your mobile banking app.  If the bill is over €1000, then you will need to use Anytime Internet Banking to make the payment.

Paying a bill for the first time through your banking app?

If the bill is up to €1000, then you can make the payment using your mobile banking app. You can either add the bank details or search from the list available.

To pay a bill using your mobile

  1. Log into the Mobile Banking App
  2. Select 'Pay' under the account you wish to make the payment from
  3. Select 'Make a payment' and “Choose Payee”
  4. Select “Pay Someone New”  then search for the company.  On Android you can use the search button, on iOS you can starting typing the name of the company and select the company.
  5. Enter amount you wish to pay
  6. Select 'Make a Payment'

If the bill is over €1000, then you will need to use Anytime Internet Banking to make the payment.
