I have flights booked with Monarch Airlines. How can I get a refund?

We are aware that Monarch has confirmed that the following companies have ceased trading and have now gone into administration:

  • Monarch Airlines Ltd
  • Monarch Holidays Ltd (ATOL Number 2275)
  • First Aviation Ltd (ATOL Number 4888) previously trading as Monarch Airlines
  • Avro Ltd (ATOL Number 1939)
  • Somewhere2stay Ltd

If you are already overseas and due to travel back to the UK on or before 15 October 2017, you will have a new flight home arranged at no extra cost as close as possible to your original return date and time.

Details of your return flight will be available on the Monarch website a minimum of 48 hours before your original flight time.

If you have payed via PayPal or booked via a third party you will need to contact them directly.

If you booked directly with Monarch and paid by Debit Card;

  • If you have booked a package holiday directly with Monarch, contact ATOL on 0207 453 6350 for further advice
  • If you have booked a flight directly with Monarch Airlines, the quickest way to register your claim is to go to the 'Not Received Goods or Services' section of our Card Payment Support Zone (opens in a new window) page

If you booked directly with Monarch and paid by Credit Card;

If you have booked a package holiday or flight directly with Monarch Airlines, the quickest way to register your claim is to go to the 'Not Received Goods or Services' section of our Card Payment Support Zone (opens in a new window) page.
