You can let us know about your bereavement by:
- Completing our online notification form (opens in a new window). Upon completion, someone from our Bereavements Team will be in contact.
- Calling our dedicated Bereavement Services Team on 1800 303 543 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm)

- Visiting your local branch

What we will require from you
When letting us know about your bereavement, you'll need to have some important documents to hand, such as:
- Full name and last known address details of the deceased
- Their Ulster Bank sort code and account number (we only need to see one, even if they had multiple accounts with us)
- The original will, if one exists. Please note that proof of ID and Address of all executor(s) will be required before we can close the accounts held by the deceased.
- Your proof of ID and address
- We no longer require a Death Certificate/Coroners Report for Estates with a value of less than €5000
